Conveniently located at The carriage & horses, the sprawling Royal Botanic Gardens are home to themed areas, two huge conservatories and a 14,000-strong arboretum; more than enough to keep you entertained. Adult tickets are £17, or if you’re a student or under 29 you can snag them for £8.50 – definitely worth the trip.
