The All Points East Festival will be adding three days of free entertainment next month featuring up and coming music acts.

At The NBHD, in partnership with Tower Hamlets Council and local organizations, the festival will feature free activities including an outdoor cinema, live music and entertainment to extend All Points East to a full week.

The premier All Points East Festival will run for four days during the August bank holiday and showcase a wide variety of musical talent including Jaimie xx, Bombay Bicycle Club, Foals, Jorja Smith and more.

In The Neighborhood will have an additional three days of entertainment from Tuesday, August 31 through Thursday, September 2.

The event’s open-air cinema shows films such as Mamma Mia, Greta Gerwig’s Little Women and The Lion King (2019).

The additional three days will also see performances by emerging artists, musicians and DJs, including high school acts from East London Arts and Music.

Meanwhile, free craft workshops, a pop-up talk show and tennis courts are also offered, with cabaret by The Bitten Peach, “Britain’s only pan-Asian queer cabaret collective,” stand-up, spoken word and a variety of other performances.

Tower Hamlets Mayor John Biggs said: “After the challenges of Covid-19 and the disappointment of missing out on many major events over the past year, I welcome the return of All Points East and In the Neighborhood to our award-winning Victoria Park at August.

“Our agreement with the organizers ensures that our local community will benefit from a three day program of free music and activities with more local businesses and artists than ever before.

“We look forward to welcoming families and festival lovers alike to one of the capital’s biggest events.”

Jim King, CEO of European Festivals at AEG Presents, added: “We are very excited to be bringing In The Neighborhood back to All Points East this year in partnership with Tower Hamlets.

“It is a real festival of the area and we are fortunate to have all of these fantastic local businesses and vendors having three days of free activities and entertainment in Victoria Park.

“Whether dance course, theater or handicraft workshop, there really is something for everyone.”

Tickets for All Points East are available now.
