London Health Sciences Center (LHSC) officials say the flooding at Victoria Hospital forced the hospital’s London Regional Cancer Program (LRCP) to cancel all clinic appointments on Tuesday.

The flood came from a burst pipe in the hospital’s cancer ward. LHSC says it is in the process of contacting affected patients to rebook their appointments with the LRCP.

There are exceptions to the cancellations as LHSC says that those with chemotherapy or radiation scheduled for Tuesday are asked to come to the LRCP anyway at their scheduled time unless they are contacted directly by their care team.
