Capital of Tradition Episode 24: our weekly present about the perfect of London tradition

elcome to a new edition of the Evening Standard’s Capital of Culture. This week, after a year that has at times felt like total sensory deprivation, we head into Silent Fall, a very strange, immersive installation of sight, smell, touch, sound and misty bubbles created by artist duo AA in Mayfair Murakami, and we take the temperature of London’s burgeoning art world at London Grads Now, an exhibition featuring work by some of the most promising graduates from the city’s incredible art schools at the Saatchi Gallery.

Thing of the Week takes a look at a project on display at the Wellcome Collection that aims to humanize the patient experience in a world of spooky PSA, and I’ll review Lin-Manuel Miranda’s directorial debut, a metamusical film adaptation of Rent Jonathan Larson’s first stage musical, Tick, tick…BOOM!, starring Andrew Garfield. Enjoy and be sure to follow the Evening Standard YouTube channel to make sure you don’t miss an episode.
