COVID-19 assessments accessible Victoria Day, free journeys to vaccine appointments begin Tuesday in Middlesex-London


LONDON, ONT. – Residents who need a COVID-19 test in Middlesex-London can get a Victoria Day on Monday.

The two COVID-19 assessment centers in London are open at regular times.

The Carling Heights Optimist Community Center on 656 Elizabeth Street is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., while the Proving Grounds at Oakridge Arena on 825 Valetta Street is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Meanwhile, Middlesex County is offering free vaccination rides through Voyago Transportation for low-income residents in the area who cannot afford them starting Tuesday.

The province and Middlesex-London Health Unit will not provide updated COVID-19 statistics on Monday but will resume on Tuesday.
