Anyone born in 2003 and turned 18 in 2021 can book a COVID-19 vaccination from Tuesday.

The Middlesex London Health Unit (MLHU) announced that vaccination eligibility will be extended to everyone aged 18 and over from 8 a.m.

The decision on the spot will be made after an announcement by the province on Monday morning. The health unit had originally planned to open bookings for people aged 18 and over on May 27.

Appointments can be booked online at covidvaccinelm.ca from 8:00 a.m. or by calling 226-289-3560 between 8:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. daily.

In addition to the inclusion of people over the age of 18, there is also an authorization for people over the age of 16 with a high health risk. A full list of eligibility requirements can be found on the MLHU website.

By May 15, the health unit said it had administered over 200,000 doses in Middlesex-London since the beginning of March.
