Eater Talks x One Hundred Shoreditch London Meals Occasions return for 2022

Tuesday, December 6, 2022 | 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m

Over three years after Eater London’s last live event, we return to the One Hundred Shoreditch for a special panel moderated by editor Adam Coghlan. In conversation with Miss Flynn by Rita, Viewpoint Partners Hussein Ahmad, Joke Bakare from Chishuru, Michelle Salazar de la RochaFounder of Sonora Taqueria, and John DevittCo-founder of Koya, the discussion will revisit and examine the past two and a half years – a time of unprecedented crises – with a group that has experienced those crises firsthand.

The discussion will cover the uncertainty and instability first caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the realities of Brexit, from supply chains to staffing, through periods of political and economic instability to now where London restaurants are being forced to struggling with soaring energy bills, rising prices across the board and volatile demand.

The event takes place on the roof of the hotel in the One Hundred Room. Doors open at 6pm when you can join us for a welcome drink before the lecture begins promptly at 6:30pm. The talk lasts about an hour with an opportunity to ask questions to the panel before we finish and re-enter the bar.

We hope to see you there.
