About the role:
A non-profitable organisation dedicated to improving young people’s lives are currently seeking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to join their finance team. This role involves providing financial expertise to designated areas and supporting with financial planning and reporting.
The organisation are offering up to £52k, a generous pension contribution, enhanced annual leave, and hybrid working involving 2 days a week in the London office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Business partnering and supporting designated areas with financial management
- Providing reporting, analysis, costing and training
- Setting, monitoring and closing budgets, and producing reporting around spend
- Contributing to the development of the finance function and existing processes
- Building rapport across the organisation and delivering cost-effective services
- Line managing junior team members
The successful candidate:
- Solid, proven experience in:
- Business partnering
- Financial management
- Year end close
- Confident Excel user
- Line management experience is desirable
- Not-for-profit sector experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable building rapport with both internal and external stakeholders and communicating complex information to non-finance members
