Looking for spooky treats for this Halloween season? Many London cafes, restaurants and bars offer Halloween-themed menus or dishes, from a dedicated supper club to an extensive afternoon tea. We have highlighted a few below. We also covered Halloween events and parties in London this month, as well as horror film screenings in London.
Kraken Rum’s Haunted Bar
Kraken Rum’s Screamfest VII: Shock Exchange is unique in that the cost of your drinks is based on your heart rate: the more scared you are, the more you pay. When you arrive at the Clerkenwell Catacombs, you’ll be fitted with a heart rate monitor and then sent into an “immersive gauntlet of unrelenting horror” which will require you to sign a waiver.

The Dinner Ladies present a Sinner Supper Club
Visit Clapton and enjoy a sizzling seven-course meal with the all-female event catering team “Dinner Ladies,” where each dish represents one of the seven deadly sins. From Sloth with Truffle Pig’s Head Croquettes to Vanity with Poison Apple Black Forest Cake, the Dinner Ladies will take you through purgatory with this extravagantly spooky dining experience, paired with an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage with each course.
Sinner Supper Club. Available from October 31st. £60 per person, plus an additional £30 per person for combination with non-alcoholic drinks or £40 per person for combination with alcoholic drinks.
Halloween festivities at the Canteen Food Hall
In the week leading up to Halloween, North Greenwich’s Canteen Food Hall transforms into a Halloween hotspot, serving spooky food and drink including Monster Spam Burgers at Hawaiian street food stall Huli Huli’s and Another Planet Pumpkin Bowls at Indian restaurant Raastawala. Limited edition cosmic cocktails are available at the bar – including a special one for children. The venue also hosts Halloween activities for children, including pottery making, Halloween trivia and dance parties.

Pumpkin spice apple crumble at Humble Crumble
Humble Crumble offers apple-spiced crumbles filled with glazed apples and topped with pumpkin-flavored syrup and shortcrust pastry. These seasonal desserts are served in pumpkins that you can take home to carve or eat. Available at Borough Market, Old Spitalfields Market and Camden Market.

Enchanting bus tour of Brigit’s Bakery
Brigit’s Bakery offers an afternoon tea experience that will give you goosebumps. Enjoy pumpkin tarts and mini black velvet cupcakes as you ride a tour bus through London’s picturesque autumn landscape. On board, a live entertainer provides pranks and Halloween-themed entertainment.

Petrifying Pumpkin Buns from Bun House
In addition to the usual dim sum buns, the Bun House in Chinatown also serves sweet Halloween buns – mini steamed buns with pumpkin cream filling.

The creepy cemetery waffle from Creams Cafe
Crawl over to Creams Café and grab a bite of the bone-chilling graveyard waffles. They’re covered in gummy worms, splatters of strawberry blood, milk chocolate sauce, and dark chocolate dirt, and topped with a soft serve ghost rising from the graveyard.

Create your own witch’s brew at The Cauldron Co.
Hop on your broom and head to central London to brew your own Halloween potion. The Cauldron Co. specializes in molecular potions classes where you can create your own witch cocktails, and also offers wizard afternoon tea and wand making.
The limited edition Halloween menu is available from October 16th to November 5th.
Never-ending brunch at Neverland London
Ghouls and ghosts can enjoy a no-holds-barred spooky brunch at Neverland London near Wandsworth Bridge, which transforms into the Haunted Lodge during spooky season. While you sip your spooky cocktails, take part in the costume contest and enjoy photo booths, face painting, and arcade games.
