A Japanese restaurant has continued its expansion plans and will open in an “iconic” location next month.
Marugame Udon, which opened its first European location on Liverpool Street in July, will celebrate its second opening at The O2 in Greenwich on Monday 13th September.
Not only is it the company’s second restaurant in London, but it is also hoping for further expansion in the capital and across Europe.
The new restaurant in the O2 extends over two floors and offers space for 150 seats and an open kitchen. The team is led by head chef and Udon Black Belt Kouhei Honkawa and offers a vegan menu.
Janine Constantin-Russell, MD of Icon Outlet and the Entertainment District at The O2, said: “We are delighted to welcome Marugame Udon to The O2 to show our visitors their fresh Japanese noodles and exciting flavor combinations.”
She continued: “Here at The O2, we will continue to diversify our range of local food and beverage brands and we look forward to offering our customers a new kitchen that is the same in quality and value.”
