The show features several award-winning London bands: Leanne Mayer Band, Farewell Stanleys, Lindsey and the Lonelies, Nicole Tan Duo, CM Justice and the Shout Sister! Choir.
“We are very happy that we can do it again. London is home to all of us and COVID has done no favors for those who needed help in the first place,” Mayer said. “Everyone who lives here and shares these values has to find their voice to make a clear statement about which city we want to live in.

“Music has always been a powerful vehicle to convey important messages through shared experiences, trials and losses. But it’s also about how these shared experiences help us connect, to empathize with each other’s stories, and to support each other.”
The show will be hosted by Jen Slay, a motivational speaker and anti-racism educator.
All donations from the free concert will go to Atlohsa, which provides “holistic healing, education, shelter and support” to indigenous people.
Mayer said the fundraiser was inspired by the discovery of school graves and the “slow pace of reparation and reconciliation efforts.” In addition to raising funds, it aims to “create awareness of the systemic challenges and barriers faced by Indigenous People in Canada.”
