The London Shoe Show has postponed its September show to October due to customer requests and government advice.

Over 46 brands and 20 exhibitors take part in the independent London shoe fair. Justin Morgan, CEO of HB Shoes Ltd, spoke to FashionUnited and said: “Some of the newcomers are Django & Juliette from Australia and Rohde from Germany. The fair is characterized by the freshness of the products and ideas of our established exhibitors. “

In accordance with Covid-19 restrictions, the two-day event will only be held on one floor with limited numbers, according to a statement, to ensure the safest environment.

Morgan said, “The show is strictly pre-registered this year to ensure we are following both hotel and government guidelines. Hand disinfection when entering the event, every stand and every departure are mandatory.

“Masks are mandatory when you move around except when making a purchase. There can be a maximum of four people at one booth at a time and there will be a one-way clockwise system around the event. ”All of this includes social distancing.

The delay in the show has resulted in some of the regular brands being unable to attend due to factory closing. However, the new October date has made it easier for retailers to evaluate their spring lecture and fall requirements.

The newly planned show will take place from October 11 to 12, 2020 at the Copthorne Tara Hotel in the London borough of Kensington.
