Piers Morgan constructs a “spaceship” whereas son Spencer permits a view of the London backyard

Piers Morgan’s son Spencer has revealed how his father built a “spaceship” in the garden of his stunning London townhouse.

The 56-year-old journalist, who will join News Corp and FOX News Media on a global deal to launch a new daily television series early next year, has built the large domed hut at the foot of his garden.

His 28-year-old son Spencer gave his 41,800 followers a glimpse into the construction and wrote: “Piers Morgan built a spaceship in the garden.

We see that the dome structure has a skylight with a porthole window on the side to look out over the manicured property.

Piers, who lives with his wife Celia Walden, 45, and their nine-year-old daughter Elise, has turfed the property with a white table and chairs for outdoor dining.

The walled garden is framed by neat borders with shrubs and climbing plants that pull up the masonry to add a touch of green.

Piers previously took a picture of his London garden where he lived during the coronavirus lockdown.

The former Good Morning Britain presenter shamed sunbathers on Twitter last year for calling them “traitors to every NHS employee”.

And in response to trolls, Piers decided to take a picture of his “massive f ****** g garden” as a result, showing a humble green room with a garden table and chairs in shot.

Piers tweeted, “For anyone who asks, this is the size of my ‘massive f ***** g garden’ in my London home that I’ll be in for the duration of this crisis.”

He added, “I can only apologize for the pompous, luxurious enormity.”

It comes after Piers, who sensationally quit the GMB after his controversial comments on Meghan Markle in March, also joins The Sun and New York Post as a columnist.

In a career comeback “bigger than Ronaldo”, HarperCollins UK signed the world rights to the 56-year-old’s new book, which will be published in hardcover, audio and digital formats.

As if that wasn’t enough, Piers will also present his own series of True Crime documentaries.

Speaking of his upcoming endeavors, Pier said in a statement: “I am very excited to be joining News Corp. to return to where I started my media career more than 30 years ago. Rupert Murdoch has been a constant and fearless advocate of free speech, and together we will build something new and very exciting.

“I want my World’s Fair to be a fearless forum for lively debate and interviews to set the agenda, and a place where everyone’s right to have an opinion is celebrated and those opinions are vigorously examined and challenged.

“I’m also excited to become a columnist for The Sun and the New York Post, two hugely successful and popular newspaper brands. I’m going home and we’ll have some fun. “
