A plant-based London restaurant has announced that it will open its second location before the end of the month.
KOJO, which first launched this December, is opening a new KOJO TO GO site on London’s Liverpool Street.
The Devonshire Square location is the first of several planned locations for KOJO, including the first under the company’s TO GO brand.
Alina Gromova-Jones, co-founder of the company, commented: “KOJO was born out of a passion for nutrition. To create a menu that can do us and our planet good and put us at the center of a growing community that gives environmental health priority to protect our own health and well-being. “
“It’s a simple belief based on the premise that you can find out what you’ve put into it.
“After all, it is no accident that the best way to take care of our own health is to take care of the health of the planet.”
“A plant-based diet is one of the most powerful ways to reconnect with nature and return to our instinctive ways of caring for the planet. If we take care of nature, nature takes care of us. We firmly believe in that.
“KOJO is more than just a bar, it’s a movement. The KOJO Kolture is the universal expression of this movement.
“From the art on the walls to the beats they play, their approach is a bit different and designed for the ‘koltured’ consumer who cares about the environment as well as the food and the experience.”
