1 BST Hyde Park 

The inaugural summer time celebration set over three weekends is returning to Hyde Park, welcoming performances from some of the world’s most recognisable artists, including the likes of Elton John, The Rolling Stones and Adele.

2 Mighty Hoopla 

The ultimate festival for pop music lovers, The Mighty Hoopla returns to Brockwell Park with a lineup including some of the biggest names in pop, such as The Sugababes, Cascada and Steps. It’s one not to be missed.

3 Hampton Court Palace Festival 

Possibly the most picturesque of festival locations on this list, Hampton Court Palace Festival is putting on a memorable line up in June of 2022, featuring world renowned artists such as Elbow, Kacey Musgraves and George Benson.

4 Wireless 

This Finsbury Park festival has earnt itself quite a reputation, and for good reason. Gathering and celebrating some of the largest names in rap, hip hop and pop, the 2022 lineup includes performances from SZA and Burna Boy to name but a few. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out.

5 We Are FSTVL 

An Upminster institution, We Are FSTVL is a must visit for dance music fans, bringing together established brands and acts from the dance music scene. One of the UK’s most popular electro festivals, the 2022 line up sees performances from the likes of Patrick Topping and Camelphat.

6 All Points East 

All Points East combines music and entertainment in buzzy Victoria Park. With acts spanning a range of genres – think James Blake, Tame Impala and Disclosure, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

7 APE Presents Field Day

Brought to life by the creators of All Points East, Field Day showcases the best talent from the electronic scene. The all day, alfresco party will be headlined by The Chemical Brothers, alongside the likes of Peggy Gou and Eliza Rose.

1 BrewLDN 

Budding beer enthusiasts will rejoice at the news that BrewLDN, the largest and most diverse craft beer festival, is returning to Printworks this May. Over118 premium brews will be available, as well as street food from Nugs and Well Kneaded.

2 Foodies Festival  

Foodies Festival returns to Syon Park in time to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with three days of food from the UK’s best loved chefs, as well as experimental cocktails and a soundtrack from the likes of Scouting For Girls and Liberty X.

3 Pub In The Park  

The UK’s biggest food and music festival is a must visit for foodies. Imagined by Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge, Pub In The Park is a celebration of delicious food, award-winning chefs and chart topping music.

4 London Cocktail Week 

London Cocktail Week is the world’s original and largest cocktail celebration, giving guests access to £7 cocktails from over 250 of London’s best bars. A must visit event for cocktail connoisseurs, the festival features special experiences, cocktail events and curated menus.

5 Taste Of London

Taste Of London’s five day feast-ival returns to Regent’s Park alongside some of the biggest names in London’s food scene, including the likes of Junsei, Around The Cluck and Flesh And Buns. This year, there’s even a tequila tent.

6 Veg Fest 

For the past two decades, VegFest has put on an impressive showcase of vegan brands under one roof. The event is back for 2022, bringing together the best in vegan food, drink, clothing and cosmetics, whilst encouraging guests to follow a vegan way of life.

7 London Wing Fest 

London Wing Fest is the UK’s largest chicken wing festival, offering guests the chance to judge wings on offer by over 40 different street food traders, restaurants and BBQ teams. There’s also games, rides and entertainment on offer.

8 Meatopia

The legendary food festival from the USA is returning to London this year, inviting more than 60 of the world’s best live-fire chef’s to each cook an exclusive dish over sustainably sourced wood and charcoal.

Think festivals are an adults only thing? Think again. From outdoor crafts, to the world’s largest bouncy castle, these festivals have a vast array of child-friendly activities on offer, so the whole family can enjoy a fun filled day out.

1 Cornbury 

The epic Cornbury festival is coming together for one ‘last hurrah’ in 2022, as this will be the final year of the celebration – and a celebration it will be. With acts such as James Blunt and Ronan Keating, as well as an extensive children’s programme with activities from circus workshops to outdoor crafts, this is the perfect festival for the whole family. Due to the pandemic, tickets for the 2020 and 2021 festivals are valid for this year’s bash.

2 Latitude 

It’s not widely known that the ever-popular Latitude festival caters to little ones, too. As well as acts for adults to enjoy, from Snow Patrol to Phoebe Bridgers, Latitude offers an adventure filled ‘woodland hideaway’, as well as an enchanted garden and kids play area.

3 Camp Bestival 

Although slightly further afield than London, Camp Bestival, one of the UK’s most successful festivals, is known for combining a festival feel with a family holiday experience. The line up includes the likes of Example and The Proclaimers, as well as a carnival, fancy dress experiences, food and drink and other entertainment.

4 CarFest 

The annual family and motoring festival in Cheshire and Hampshire is back for 2022, with performances from Ronan Keating and Fine Lines, as well as (prepare your little ones) – the world’s biggest bouncy castle. Now you have to book.

5 Standon Calling 

Why should little ones miss out on all the fun? This unique festival in the Hertfordshire countryside has a stellar music line up (think the likes of Annie Mac and Example), as well as comedy shows and cultural talks. For kids, Horrible Histories will be live on stage, as well as a reading of ‘The Leaf Thief’ by author Alice Hemming.

1 RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival

Budding gardeners shouldn’t miss the world’s largest flower show as it returns to Hampton Court Palace for 2022. This year, highlights include a global warning themed garden designed to raise awareness by William Butterworth, as well as a hospital garden designed for staff and patients to be immersed in nature by Tony Woods and Rhi Williams.

2 RHS Chelsea Flower Show
