New London – A free grocery giveaway scheduled for Thursday has been postponed to Friday.
The NL Feed the Fam 4Free project, organized by the Keeping Kids Out of Prison (KOP) group, takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the New London OIC, 106 Truman St. One box of groceries is provided free of charge for each family. Each box contains 20 pounds of fresh produce, fruits, vegetables, meat, and milk.
