The London-based CEO of GoodLife Health has been inducted into the Canadian Enterprise Corridor of Fame


LONDON, ONT. – The founder and CEO of London, Ont. GoodLife Fitness was inducted into the Canadian Business Hall of Fame.

David ‘Patch’ Patchell-Evans was inducted on May 27th and is the first health club owner to be honored.

Patchell-Evans opened his first gym in London 42 years ago.

Since then, his company has grown to operate clubs in all provinces, and has also introduced the lower-cost, Fit4Less clubs nationwide.

In his acceptance speech, he talked about how he views fitness clubs as an important part of post-pandemic health and recovery.

He also took the time to recognize the thousands of employees across the company.

“I couldn’t come here on my own, and they are all vital to GoodLife contributing to a healthier, happier, more productive population.”
