The London Meals Financial institution is launching Spring Drive and providing extra choices for entry to the service

LONDON, ONT. – The London Food Bank’s 34th annual Spring Food Drive begins Thursday morning as the organization announces a new food distribution program for the city.

Several YMCA branches as well as a number of resource centers will shortly distribute the food collected during the trip to those in need.

“This program is becoming a reality because of the wonderful partnership between the London Food Bank, Resource Centers and the YMCA in southwestern Ontario,” said Jane Roy of the London Food Bank in a statement.

Due to the pandemic, some places accept non-perishable food, but organizers are encouraging people to donate money.

This year’s spring trip will take place from March 26th to April 5th.

Further details are expected to be released on Thursday.
