AlvegoRoot Theater presents a new play online from Friday to September 27th, The Bicycle Play, written by Dan Ebbs, Kydra Ryan and Adam Corrigan Holowitz, founders and artistic directors of the theater group.

The company will also be streaming a recording of Holowitz’s Pirates of Long Point.

Both shows were created to be filmed and are staged by Holowitz with a cast of Ebbs, Ryan, Casey Cornell, Elizabeth Durand and Bronwyn Wilson.

The Bicycle Play “explores London’s defining relationship with bicycles,” and tells stories “of Londoners who have shaped their lives and our city by bicycle, including Jane Bigelow, George Wenige, Greg Curnoe and Jessie Robins,” said Holowitz.

Holowitz said Pirates of Long Point is “a joyous celebration of theater based on true stories from the area’s past that brings laughter, liberation and joy – something we all need now.”
