A fried chicken specialist has announced that it has opened its first central London restaurant.

Sidechick in Marylebone has opened on James Street and focuses on chicken dishes.

The restaurant has space for 50 indoor and 20 outdoor areas and is spread over two floors. It describes itself as “part living room, part family kitchen table and part clubhouse”.

It is run by Luke Frankie, former head chef at The Drapers Arms and former sous chef at Spring.

Sidechick Founder Joe Grossmann commented, “Couldn’t be more excited to open Sidechick James St.

“It took a long time … we worked tirelessly from design to menu to create a space and offer that people should appreciate, crave and just come and have an amazing experience.

“The menu has evolved a lot from food to drinks. So be excited to express what the vision has always done for Sidechick to its fullest …”
