Three new COVID-19 instances on Tuesday, no new deaths: Middlesex-London Well being Unit


LONDON, ONT. – The Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU) reports three new COVID-19 cases and no new deaths on Tuesday.

The total number of cases in the region is now 12,701 and the death toll remains at 229 with 12,418 cases resolved.

There are currently 54 active incidents of the virus. According to MLHU, there are 3,554 cases with a worrying variant, of which 58 are the highly contagious Delta variant.

This is because the MLHU offers its residents the choice of vaccine in all of its clinics without an appointment from Tuesday.

Ontario reports 127 new infections across the province with two new deaths. It was July 12th when the daily number of new cases was so low, with 114 new infections.
